«Turksib» by Abylkhan Kasteev: people and riders meet the first train in the steppe. And two green screens, the kind put up on a shoot where the graphics will appear later.
The painting is repeated like a frame on set: the same arrangement of people and horses, the same gaze at one point. Only the train is not there yet, a green screen stands in its place. Everything that is due to arrive will arrive later, in the edit.
